Make fewer mistakes
The WinFin system notifies you of data entry errors in various parts of the program. You cannot enter an invalid account number and when a transaction is not balanced, it will warn you prior to printing or prevent the function. The incorrect data is saved in order to permit you to make adjustments and corrections.
Since you have the ability to select from drop down lists and look up buttons, there is less typing required than traditional systems. Copy features are available in many areas which permit you to duplicate an entire entry and make changes as required. In addition, you cannot delete anything unless it is inactive and has no current history. Any item can be inactivated at any time to prevent accidental access to it.
